AYSO UNITED Utah was one of the original 6 (six) inaugural programs launched in 2016 as the competitive arm of AYSO Soccer. It grew out of a pilot program started in Region 354 (Sandy/Draper) in 2012 called AYSO XFC where the "XFC" stood for "Generic Football Club". The XFC pilot program proved we were ready to compete with the highly saturated club market in Salt Lake City and we were able to expand to our Northern Utah counties. We were excited when the AYSO United National Program was launched and have continued to grow from four teams in 2012 to over 50 teams in 2022.
